Kristine & Joel's Engagement Session
engagements  |  MAY. 25, 2008

Kristine and Joel came to San Francisco for one of our fun city engagement sessions. They live in Auburn, CA and are getting married in July at the beautiful Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa in Sacramento. I can't wait!!! These guys look so great together and have a playful chemistry that really comes across in front of the camera. It's obvious how in love they are. We all really clicked and had a great time shooting around SF.

Kristine payed me the ultimate compliment when she told us that she scheduled her wedding day around my availability to make sure she got the photographer she wanted. I love it!

After sunset we all headed over to our favorite SF Mexican joint-- Tia Margarita for an awesome dinner and a few rounds of incredible margaritas. Kristine & Joel's treat!!! How cool is that? Thanks again guys, for a great day and a great dinner! Looking forward to seeing you both again on your big day in July.

Gina & Brian’s Wedding
weddings  |  MAY. 22, 2008

Gina & Brian's wedding was the perfect combination that every bride hopes for; two great people, three fantastic locations, and one beautiful day! Gina and Brian live in Colorado and chose San Francisco as the location for their destination wedding! Good choice :-)

Gina couldn't have picked a better place to stay when she chose The Argonaut Hotel, located in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. The hotel's super cool nautical-themed rooms provided the perfect backdrop for images of Gina and her bridesmaids getting ready.

This was my first wedding at the historic Sts. Peter & Paul Church and I'd been looking forward to it for months. It certainly lived up to its magnificent reputation. It's one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in San Francisco. A definite must see when visiting SF.

After the ceremony everyone headed to another one of San Francisco's gems, The Officer's Club at Fort Mason for the reception.

What a great day! Congratulations Gina & Brain!! Thanks so much for making me part of your special day.

Thanks to the talented Kirsty Edwards and Rudi Halbrite for second shooting. I had fun with you guys!

Kirsty grabbed this pretty portrait of Gina. You see a few more posted on her blog by clicking here.

Rudi got this great wide shot from the church's balcony. Way to go!

Featured: The Wedding Planning Audiocast
studio news  |  MAY. 17, 2008

Quick Saturday pre-wedding post to let everyone know that I've been featured on The Wedding Planning Audiocast website! Ralph Mucci and the nice folks at The Wedding Planning Audiocast have been good enough to publish my article about the importance of hiring a professional wedding photographer on their planning page. Click here to check it out. They've also included a small collection of my images! Very cool.

This past Thursday Ralph interviewed me about the how's and why's of my blog for an upcoming show in their "Meet The Bloggers" series. I'm the first male blogger to be featured! Got to represent, lol. The interview was a lot of fun and gave me a chance to espouse my blog gospel. I'll post a link to the interview as soon as it goes live. Should be about two weeks from now.

Well that's it for now, off to photograph Gina & Brian's beautiful SF wedding!

A big thank you to everyone at The Wedding Planning Audiocast.
