Yesterday our friend and super talented florist Martha Andrew's of Blooms surprised her daughter Rachel by giving her one of our "Day in The Life Portrait Sessions" for her 17th birthday. Martha, Rachel and her sisters Anne, Emily, and Rebekah were all in San Francisco to celebrate Rachel's birthday with an all day shopping spree!! Martha hired me on the QT a few weeks back and asked us to keep it all hush hush. No problem :-)
This was so much fun to be part of. The girls were so surprised and excited when we showed up unannounced at Union Square totting all my cameras and lenses. What a cool mom your are Martha! And what a great idea. Rachel and her sisters are the sweetest, smartest, coolest, prettiest, most amazing ladies you'll ever meet. Wendy and I have fallen in love with this family! We had so much fun spending the day with you guys!

I had a great time this past Friday photographing Erin and JP's "You & Me" Engagement Session at The Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco. It's an amazing building surrounded by beautiful flower gardens and manicured grounds. This place is a must see.
Erin and JP are getting married next month on Saturday April 12, at Trentadue Winery in Geyserville, CA. I can't wait!
They've been working hard buttoning up last minute wedding details. JP has been doing double duty getting his newly opened restaurant Melos Pizza and Pasta in Pleasant Hill, CA off to a great start. I know where we'er going for our next awesome dinner out. Join us!!! Congratulations guys and best of luck with the restaurant. See you in a month!!!

"The Cobbler's Children Have No Shoes" the saying goes. This was exactly the situation Wendy and I found ourselves in up until this week. We spend so much time and energy producing beautiful images capturing the love between our awesome couples that we neglected one very important couple - us!
We've been wanting a portrait together for so long but for one reason or another could never find the time. This week, we had the perfect opportunity and finally got our moment in the sun (err, strobes!) After we finished up Kim Clancy's Executive Portrait Session the time was right.
Dennis Urbiztondo, our best friend and awesome photographer, assisted on Kim's session and grabbed these fantastic shots of Wendy and me. We couldn't be happier!! Thank you so much Dennis. You rock! |
